Like piping, Helweg exclusive Input Panels are cosmetic. Also like piping, they look ridiculously cool. If you plan on having multiple input jacks and other elements, this is a great way to line them up at the top of your board. Currently, they are available covered with tolex or tweed to match or contrast your design. If you're going for a "that board is killer!" reaction from your friends, you should seriously consider this option. All the cool kids are getting them!
